The Buckner Company Appoints New Executive Vice President

Salt Lake City, Utah - The Buckner Company welcomes new Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer, Mark A. Oligschlaeger. Oligschlaeger joins the insurance firm after having spent the last 12 years working for Leucadia National Corporation, where he most recently served as the Vice President of Leucadia's real estate development entity.

Oligschlaeger is replacing former Chief Operations Officer, James Jones, who recently retired from the insurance industry after more than 20 years.

Oligschlaeger's diverse business background makes him a great fit for the agency, which has grown drastically in the past ten years. A Wyoming native, Oligschlaeger is a graduate of Brigham Young University's MBA program. He and his wife, Shae, are parents to four children. Mark enjoys mountain biking, skiing, training for triathlons and golfing.
