Vegas Office Hits Jackpot – Donna Ferguson Adds Expertise to Buckner Team

The Buckner Company is proud to announce the addition of Donna Ferguson as Branch Manager in their Las Vegas office. Ferguson brings more than 30 years of insurance and business experience to The Buckner Company.

Ferguson managed two agencies in the past, and became licensed in 1979. That same year, she became a partner in a firm in Newport Beach, California, and the following year bought out her partner and changed the name of the agency to Ferguson Financial Insurance Agency. Ferguson served as President, and was responsible for all aspects of the agency’s day-to-day operations. The agency sold in 1995 and after a year off, Ferguson decided to continue her career and became the Marketing Manager of Wood Gutmann & Bogart Insurance in 0range County, CA for 5 years. She then worked for Armstrong Robitaille Insurance, which was purchased by Union Bank of California, and was Marketing Manager there for 5 years, at which time she moved to Nevada. Ferguson was working as a Marketing Manager for Acordia prior to joining The Buckner Company.

Ferguson spent seven years on the Independent Agents & Brokers of Orange County, California before serving as President of the organization in 1989. She has also served on numerous insurance company producer councils during her career, and was President of the Insurance Brokers’ Society of 0range County, CA immediately prior to moving to Nevada.
