Rich Peterson joined The Buckner Company in 2006. Rich currently serves as one of the Vice Presidents of the Employee Benefits Department. Prior to joining The Buckner Company, Rich was employed with Regence BlueCross BlueShield for more than 20 years.

Rich began his career with Regence as a claims adjudicator and then worked in various other departments including customer service and medical review. Just prior to joining The Buckner Company, Rich spent ten years working as a Marketing Representative for Regence. In this position, Rich renewed and serviced accounts for both small and large employers, including companies with over one thousand employees.

He has also consulted many employers and employees alike on their employee benefit designs and strategies. Rich is currently a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, as well as the Utah chapter.
