J.D. Rex joined The Buckner Company in January of 2008. He has been involved with trucking and transportation insurance for the past ten years and brings with him extensive knowledge and research in this industry.

In addition to being a highly successful agent, J.D. also currently serves in the capacity of Transporation Practice Group Leader, acting as a mentor and resource to newer transportation agents in his department. J.D.'s success has helped him build a solid reputation as a true Trucking & Transportation specialist. J.D. spends his time managing the Trucking division, and prospecting for new business.

He takes great pride in being honest, and providing excellent customer service. He focuses on bringing more to the table then just price. He tries to add true value to his customers by helping them to understand the insurance business better.

J.D. earned his B.A. in Communication from the University of Utah. He is also NBIS Risk Management Certified. A local to Utah, J.D. and his wife, Amy, are parents to four children.
