J.D. Dawson is new to the Buckner family in 2010. His main client focus is working with companies in the real estate, construction, and development sectors. J.D.'s personable nature, along with his sharp eye for detail, makes him a great fit for the Buckner team.

J.D. spent eight years working in real estate and finance. He owned and managed a lending company and a mortgage brokerage. J.D.'s expertise in the finance and real estate industry has prepared him for a successful career in insurance.

He and his wife, Cindi, are parents to a two-year-old little boy. They enjoy spending time as a family and love to go boating and participate in sports. J.D. is currently playing semi-professional football. He also loves to golf.
