Janet Metcalf Gardner joined The Buckner Company in 2009. She is a great asset to our Employee Benefits Team. Janet has been in the insurance world since 1991. She successfully ran her own agency, Janet Metcalf Health Insurance Specialists, for 14 years prior to coming to The Buckner Company.

Janet's passion and area of expertise is working with small employers particularly those businesses who employ 2 to 50 employees.

Janet attended school at Salt Lake Community College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Science.

Together, Janet and her husband, Paul Gardner, are parents to seven children and grandparents to 15 grandchildren. Janet likes to spend her spare time working with young women who are recovering from addictions. She also helps with many charities, such as Sub for Santa, Utah Food Bank, Men's Homeless Shelter, and the Utah AIDs Foundation. Janet also enjoys golfing, gardening, and studying metaphysical and religious philosophy.
